Shelter Staff
Our staff is a team of special people that manage the day-to-day shelter operations, making sure our animals are well cared for until they find their forever homes. They partner with the Board, which provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance.
Director, Amy Klavinger
Amy co-founded Pets Without Parents in 2001. The shelter where she was working announced that it was closing. Amy opened Pets Without Parents to take over the care of the remaining pets. The rest is history!
Every day since, she has been a hands-on Director and has devoted her life to rescue, animal welfare, and the care of Pets Without Parents. At home she has two senior cats and two wonderful pit bulls. All rescues, of course! |
Manager, Jourdan Ribbler
Jourdan has been part of Pets Without Parents since the summer of 2007. She worked part-time at Pets Without Parents while completing her undergrad and loved it too much to leave when she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Equine Science from Otterbein College in 2010.
Learning didn't stop there. Jourdan loves to constantly learn anything animal or rescue related and she has a real passion for animal behavior. When not at PWP, Jourdan also works in Client Relations for a local and growing veterinary practice. |
